Crescent Real Estate Equities Co.'s long-anticipated purchase of
Manville Plaza for $91 million is considered a sign that investors
still like downtown.
The deal by Fort Worth-based Crescent is the largest office
purchase in Denver in more than a year.
Crescent, which is buying the 29-story, 675,000- square-foot
building at 717 17th St., owns the adjacent MCI Tower and Marriott
City Center Hotel.
