Trumpets to herald end of 25-year campaign

Trumpets will be blown to celebrate the successful end to a 25- year campaign in Briton Ferry this week.

But it will not be organisers of a pounds70,000 restoration of the town's historic Brunel Tower blowing their own trumpets.

Instead, the music will be courtesy of Briton Ferry Silver Band, who will be making a guest appearance when the covers officially come off the tower tomorrow.
