TALK about a good thing gone bad. Honeysuckle vines make a beautiful and aromatic bloom in May. They re-bloom in a smaller way off and on through the season.

There's only one problem with this beauty: Honeysuckle won't stay put.

Vines don't eat up people's gardens the way deer do, they don't slip into people's homes the way mice do, and they don't spread disease the way mosquitoes do. But vines can be pests, too, outstaying their welcome and taking over yards and woodlots.

Take a trip out to Sissonville High School, where the Japanese honeysuckle climbs the fence ...
