Corinth residents upset

Corinth Estates includes 26 homes. About 30 Corinth residents attended the June 23 Planning Commission meeting to oppose the adjoining Carriage Hills subdivision plan.

"It's a slap in the face by having something that is so remarkably different right next door," said Rod Sampson, the original developer of Corinth and previous owner of the Carriage Hills land.

The residents' greatest concern is the street alignment in the new subdivision, near the intersection of Cook and Bishop roads. Carriage Hills would connect with Corinth's streets, and much of the new traffic would presumably come through ...
