Meditation brings about more than enlightenment

There's a kind of mystery surrounding meditation.

From its Eastern origins in Buddhism and Hinduism throughout East Asia, meditation might make us picture astute monks who can sit in freezing caves as steam rises from their bodies, or levitating yogis who can walk over burning coals.

Underneath all the mysticism, though, meditation is really quite simple.
