Religious movement takes root in St. Joseph
|
Capt. David Jones has always been a man on the move.
After serving in South Korea, Fort Bragg and other sites, the
former Special Forces Army soldier finds himself back in his hometown
of St. Joseph, leading a religious movement that began in Italy in
1954 with Monsignor Luigi Giussani that has since expanded into 70
countries.
Now Capt. Jones is bringing his mentor, Monsignor Lorenzo
Albacete, the U.S. leader of the Communion and Liberation Movement,
to our area next week for two lectures.
Capt. Jones embraced the movement after searching and experiencing
many faiths, from Baptist to Islam ...
