Craig of Meir writes: "I've been thinking about going into business as a market trader. I've been getting a bit fed up of working indoors after 20 years on a potbank, and friends assure me that there's good money to be made on the markets.

"I recently inherited a giant samovar from a great-uncle in the Ukraine. It's an ornate copper affair with brass trim, and comes complete with the brightly-coloured hand-cart from which my late relative used to serve tea to shoppers in the markets near his home at Kirovograd.
