Call to protect rare sea fans
|
One of Plymouth's leading scientists has called for hundreds of
rare pink sea fans to be protected off the coast of Plymouth.
Dr Jason Hall-Spencer, of the University of Plymouth, says there
are an "abundance" of pink sea fans off the Breakwater at a place
called the Drop Off, which is a sea cliff.
Dr Hall-Spencer is calling on the Government to consider
implementing a protection order around the site.
