Torbay Development Agency's chief executive has resigned from his
post among rumours that the body is set for major reorganisation.
Torbay Council announced yesterday that Richard Morgan, who has
been in the job for three-and-a-half years, would be leaving for a
new position at the University of Plymouth.
It is believed the TDA is set for major changes as part of the
council's reshaping project.
Mr Morgan joined the TDA when it formed in April 2004 and during
his time in charge he has secured pounds53million in private and
public capital funding for the Bay.
