A campaign for more free chiropody care for pensioners has struck a chord with Herald Express readers.

Robin Causley, director of Age Concern Torbay, launched an appeal through the Herald Express for older readers to tell him their experiences of NHS foot care cutbacks. And dozens of people responded by calling the charity.

Now MPs Adrian Sanders and Anthony Steen are backing the charity's Feet for Purpose campaign.
