As chairman of governors at Torquay Grammar School for Girls, I
would like to add my pennyworth to the grammar school debate (HE,
Saturday, May 26).
Firstly, the fact that I am a governor of this school in the first
place means that I support wholeheartedly the ethos of the school
that I serve.
The quality of both the teaching and learning is second to none
and the sky is the limit for pupils.
