A Leading player in the frozen food industry has stepped down from his ambassadorial role after quarter of a century.

Grimsby-born Alf Carr, who has awarded an OBE for his work over the years, has vacated the role of director general of the British Frozen Food Federation (BFFF).

And he leaves the sector in good shape, with sales up at the start of the year and confidence in the new initiatives from the major brands.
