So Doomsday will be 2060, according to Sir Isaac Newton, as
reported in Tuesday's Daily Mail?
I would recommend that that paper's science reporter Fiona MacRae,
who wrote this, takes such predictions with a pinch of salt and
studies the life of Derby's John Flamsteed, the first Astronomer
Royal. King Charles II pulled down a fort and used the bricks to
build Greenwich Observatory to accommodate the genius that was
Flamsteed.
He was later referred to as the father of modern astron...
