Health bosses have been warned that it may take years to set up a dental school in Aberdeen.

Former Labour Deputy Health Minister Lewis Macdonald has highlighted problems faced by another new dental school in England.

The Peninsula Dental School in Devon and Cornwall has just opened after seven years of planning.

It is the first new dental school in the UK for 40 years, and is still trying to fill three positions on its academic staff.
