Pomona mayor lays out city vision
|
POMONA - One Pomona: One Voice.
That theme, which architects of the Pomona Youth and Family Master
Plan have begun using, was co-opted by Mayor Norma Torres in her
state of the city address Wednesday.
Torres said the city is making strides toward improving its
infrastructure and its image, as money is poured into downtown
revitalization projects and the city's water and sewer systems get a
multimillion-dollar upgrade.
Much has been accomplished, but more lies ahead, the mayor said.
"Throughout this coming year, we will make many choices for the
legacy we will leave behind to our children ...
