Corona ranch culture preserved in heritage park

Corona's history is rich with many stories to be told and if it
wasn't for those who fought to keep it alive, no one would know what
existed almost a century ago.
What is now Corona was once covered with more than 2,000 acres of
citrus grove ranches, a scene completely different from today's
Corona. Foothill ranch was the largest of all the citrus ranches in
Corona.
The ranch was self-sufficient, it had its own company store,
housed their employees, we refer to them as camps, and the ranch had
a gas station,'' said Marla Benson, president of the Corona Heritage
Park and Museum.
