ASHERIFF compared the shooting of a child to the tragic gun death
of Glasgow toddler Andrew Morton.
Sheriff Lindsay Foulis warned about the danger of air-powered
weapons after hearing a 10-yearold boy had been shot and injured.
He said: "The media profile of offences where an air pistol is
used and a projectile strikes another person is high and with
justification.
