The phrases "rock star" and "good parent" rarely go together. Bob
Seger is an exception.
Seger can be labeled many things: a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
inductee; a songwriter whose music helped sell pickup trucks; a two-
time winner of the Port Huron-to-Mackinac Island sailboat race; and
a motorcycle enthusiast. The most important role Seger plays,
