OWENSBORO, CHRISTIAN COUNTY ARE IN ACTION TODAY

Western Kentucky powers Owensboro and Christian County will be in
action today at Kentucky's Sweet 16 basketball tournament at Rupp
Arena.
Owensboro (24-8), a two-time state champion, will take on Ballard
(32-2) at 11 a.m. CDT. Christian County (28-4), which eliminated
Henderson County in the region final, then plays George R. Clark (25-
7).
The night session today pits Elliott County (24-6) vs. Shelby
Valley (29-3), followed by tiny June Buchanan (26-6) vs. Warren
Central (28-4....
