As Brian Ranes turns on the light and steps into his office at
SWAT Pest Management, something is stirring in its web. Agitated but
shy, it soon retreats into its den away from possible harm.

Too much curiosity in this case might be dangerous. The something,
which is safely contained in a bug habitat on Ranes' desk, is a black
widow -- one of only two spider species in Indiana capable of
seriously injuring humans.
