Students and the staff at the University of Southern Indiana will long remember international exchange student Pablo Cortes Sanchez, even though he has returned to his home in Spain.

The 23-year-old Sanchez delighted individuals and audiences on the campus with his bagpipe playing since shortly after he arrived there last August.

Attending the university on a scholarship, he studied biology with aspirations to become a veterinarian some day.

Little did anyone suspect Sanchez also was talented with the bagpipes until he began introducing the students, faculty and campus visitors to his favorite ...
