The success of the Bank of Evansville has spurred some competition.

The new Evansville Commerce Bank will not only emphasize the same community approach to commercial banking as the Bank of Evansville, which was launched in Evansville four years ago. The newest bank also will have Tom Austerman as president and chief executive officer -- the same banker who started the earlier bank.
