To Jasper High School running back Luke Schmidt, it seems like
forever since the Wildcats defeated Heritage Hills.
Actually, it has been since a playoff game in 1995. The Patriots
won another playoff game between the schools in '96 and every year
since a regular-season series began in 2001.
Vincennes Lincoln snapped Heritage Hills' 59-game regular-season
winning streak with a 7-0 victory Aug. 19. Jasper hopes to end its
