FACE OF FORT CAMPBELL LEAVING AFTER 18 YEARS

To many, Command Sgt. Maj. Marvin Hill is the face of Fort Campbell.

At public events, he's often heard yelling "It's a great day" and "Hooah!" In private moments, he's said to give words of inspiration.

But Hill, 46, is leaving his post as the senior noncommissioned officer of the 101st Airborne Division. He said he feels like he's at the end of a good book that one feels unfortunate to finish.

"I flipped the page the other day, and it said `The End, ' " Hill said.

He leaves after three years as the division command sergeant major and 18 years total at the post. He will be command sergeant ...
