But perhaps the most painful and personal wound Jesus suffered during the days before his execution came as a kiss.

Judas Iscariot, one of Jesus' disciples, agreed to turn the controversial Christ over to the chief priests. In exchange, Judas received 30 pieces of silver, a nominal fee. And in that act, Christians believe Christ began his walk to the cross, to his death and to his resurrection.
