SHOOTING SUSPECT SURRENDERS TO POLICE

A houseguest who Evansville police say shot his host in the neck
Tuesday night turned himself in Wednesday at police headquarters.
Dusty Alan Rhodes, 36, faces a preliminary charge of attempted
murder. He is accused of shooting 25-year-old Jeremy W. Grimm just
before 8 p.m. Tuesday at Grimm's home at 119 Adams Ave.
Grimm was listed in serious condition Wednesday at Deaconess
Hospital.
Rhodes had been staying with Grimm and his wife for about three
weeks. The Grimms had allowed Rhodes to live with them for a while to
help with rent and other bills.
