SAN LEANDRO -- The San Leandro High football team bolted to a 20- 0 lead, scoring on its first three possessions and never looked back Thursday in a 20-7 victory over Castro Valley at Burrell Field.

The Pirates got first-half touchdown runs from Mike Lee and Anthony Corpuz, and also scored on a 14-yard strike from quarterback Travis Gardner to Armando Ramirez. San Leandro then turned it over to its swarming defense.
