Seldom Scene bluegrass band to perform in Lincoln County

Lincoln Friends of the Arts has announced that the contemporary bluegrass band Seldom Scene will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 30 in the new Lincoln County High School in Hamlin. Tickets are $18 and $22 and are available online at www.LiveAtLincoln.org or at 304-824- 7500. Seldom Scene has been called one of the most influential bluegrass bands of the last 30 years. Formed in 1971 out of weekly jam sessions in a Bethesda, Md., home, Seldom Scene started out as a group of musicians who agreed to play only one night a week and keep their day jobs.
