Kanawha County prosecutor Bill Charnock is asking legislators to
support his proposal to expand the state's DNA database by including
those arrested on felony charges.
Last week, in a letter to the county's legislative delegation,
Charnock urged local lawmakers to enact changes to West Virginia's
laws that compel DNA samples.
