Church members buy games center

Some families who attend Rock Lake Presbyterian Church in South Charleston bought the former Rock Lake Putt-Putt Golf and Games Center at auction Thursday for $440,000, the church's pastor said.

The families will lease the land to the church, which wants to use the nearly five acres for ministry.

The church will probably use some of the space for Sunday school rooms, said the Rev. Rick McGuire.
