'Silent Night' history, creators examined

Over the years, much has been told and written about Father Joseph
Mohr and teacher/musician Franz Gruber. Those two combined their
talents to write the lyrics and music to the popular Christmas carol
"Stille Nacht! Heilige Nacht," ("Silent Night! Holy Night.") The two
were friends who lived in small villages a few kilometers north of
Salzburg, Austria.
Some of the information on this Christmas event of many years ago
