Molson Helps Recyle the 'Crushed Can' Brewer donates $50,000 towards completion of new Moose Jaw Multiplex

MOOSE JAW, SASKATCHEWAN--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 26, 2007) - Canada's oldest brewer today donated $50,000 towards the completion of the new Moose Jaw multiplex, helping to recycle the 47-year-old 'Crushed Can' in the coming years.

Molson donated the funds for the new 4,500-seat multiplex the as part of a fun, hockey shootout on the ice of the Civic Center where the brewer donated $10,000 for every goal scored by a Moose Jaw community leader. The event included local VIPs Mayor Dale McBain, local MLAs Glenn Hagel and Deb Higgins, the assistant for MP Dave Batters, and Darin Chow of the Moose Jaw ...
