The new movie "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford," starring Brad Pitt as Jesse, Casey Affleck as Ford and Sam Shepard as Frank James, is at least the 38th movie about Jesse James. This certainly makes him in filmdom the most famous or infamous son of Missouri and probably will create considerable interest in the many historical places in Missouri connected to Jesse James.
