Surrounded in a clapping, stomping and chanting circle of teammates, Marcus Bradford cranked out rep after rep of a 30-pound dumbbell with his left arm.

As the numbers grew higher, the chanting became louder and a smile began to creep over Bradford's face. There was a brief moment of hesitation during repetitions 13-15, the invisible wall starting to build in front of Bradford. But he was not going to be denied. He was going to break through, and all the while, there was that smile on his face.
