Last week's travel page had a story: "Taj Mahal not Agra's only sight, India says." It was a story about Fatehpur Sikri, a ghost town that was once the capital of the Mughal Empire, which in the 1500s covered almost the entire Indian subcontinent. To celebrate his achievements, Emperor Akbar as the seat of his government chose this spot, naming it Fatehpur Sikri, the City of Victory.
