Severna Park Runs Past No. 10 Annapolis, 9-7

Severna Park used a relentless rushing attack in the first half to take the lead and then relied on its gang-tackling defense to keep it as the Falcons won the Anne Arundel County AA League championship tonight with a 9-7 victory at 10th-ranked Annapolis.

Severna Park (9-1, 4-1 in league play) kept the Panthers (8-2, 3-2) off balance by rushing tailback Tom Rickloff into the center of the line to set up long runs by wingbacks Jeff Kreis and Gerald Wenn.
