Zimbabwe campaigns to host World Meteorological Organization meeting

HARARE, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- The Zimbabwean Meteorological Services Department said here on Friday that they are campaigning to continue hosting the World Meteorological Organization and Drought Monitoring meetings in Harare.

Deportment Director Amos Makarau said that the Ministry of Transport and Communication had promised to back them in their bid to continue hosting the meetings.

"We would want to continue hosting these meetings here in Harare as we have the Drought Monitoring Center ...
