Portland Campuses Work to Protect Civil Liberties

On October 7, scores of student activists from Bowdoin College, Bates College and Colby College will launch "First Monday 2002: Civil Liberties in A New America" -- a national day of education and action to address the erosion of civil liberties since September 11. This First Monday event, a program of the Alliance for Justice, is just one of over 200 campus events taking place across the country on October 7.
