NEW YORK, July 18 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The Palestinian terrorist organization Islamic Jihad is responsible for Islamicizing Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza and for establishing a dangerous relationship between the Palestinians and Iran, concludes a new American Jewish Committee report, "Terrorism Briefing: Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine."

The AJC report, prepared by Yehudit Barsky, Director of AJC's Division on Middle East and International Terrorism, examines the 22- year history of Islamic Jihad, one of the most influential terrorist groups operating from Gaza and the West Bank.
