Roosevelt will greet Navy League members at the opening ceremony of
their Centennial Convention on Saturday morning, June 29, 2002.
President Theodore Roosevelt was instrumental in the founding of the
organization 100 years ago.
The Navy League of the United States (NLUS) is holding their
Centennial Convention in New York City at the Marriott Marquis Hotel,
Times Square.
