Star Wars Benefit Premiere Raises Half a Million Dollars for Children's Aid Society; Funds Will Support Disadvantaged NYC Youth

NEW YORK, May 15 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The New York City premiere of
Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones on Sunday, May 12, raised
more than $500,000 for programs and services for disadvantaged youth
at The Children's Aid Society, the charity announced today.
The Mother's Day premiere of the latest installment in George
Lucas' saga was designated a fundraising event for children's
charities in 11 cities in the United States and Canada. The
