America to Celebrate Tax Freedom Day April 27, Two Days Earlier than 2001; State Tax Freedom Days Vary from AK April 8 to CT May 14

WASHINGTON, April 10 /U.S. Newswire/ -- America can celebrate Tax
Freedom Day(r) on April 27. That is two days earlier than in 2001 and
four days earlier than in 2000.
In a 10 a.m. press conference on Wednesday, April 10, at the
National Press Club, Tax Foundation Executive Director Scott Hodge
announced the findings from a new report on the nation's tax burden.
