At the White House, a Privatization Affair

President Reagan's Private Sector Initiatives (PSI) is going
international, and tonight's White House dinner for visiting French
Prime Minister Jacques Chirac will reflect just how international.
Among the guests will be Bernard Arnault, president of Christian
Dior, and Baroness Philippine de Rothschild, both of whom were
instrumental in arranging a secret PSI-led meeting in Paris last fall
that brought together 200 of Europe's biggest names in government,
diplomacy and business.
Nothing was ever written about the high-powered gathering
