Book Festival Review: William Dalrymple

THERE could be no one better than William Dalrymple to commence one the key strands of this year's Book Festival: India. In recent years, his writing has illuminated near-forgotten chapters of that country's history and explored their remarkable relevance to contemporary events, and this lecture was no exception.
