Devro names Page its new chief executive

SAUSAGE skin maker Devro has appointed Peter Page as chief executive, replacing Graeme Alexander, who will step down from the post immediately while continuing in an advisory capacity until August.

Page is currently European vice-president of Aviagen, the market leading poultry breeding company, where he has played a pivotal role in developing the pan-European business, through acquisition, integration and organic growth.

Devro began its search for a new chief executive after Alexander said in November that he would retire in the coming year.
