Nicaraguan government and Roman Catholic Church leaders have met for the fourth time in six months in an attempt to ease tense relations.

According to a source who asked to remain anonymous, the return of the Rev. Bizmarck Carballo and of Bishop Pablo Antonio Vega and the reopening of Radio Catolica, the church-run radio station, are "priorities for the church."
