Cambium plans to raise GBP 250m on AIM

EXECUTIVES from Cambium Global Timberland, a Jersey-based forestry investment company, met leading Scottish financial institutions in Edinburgh yesterday to outline plans to raise GBP 250 million on London's Alternative Investment Market in the spring.

Colin McGrady, who runs Cambium, and Dr David Brand, who heads New Forest of Sydney, the company's forestry adviser, told the Edinburgh institutions that Cambium would be the first timberland investment vehicle hedged into sterling and designed specifically for British investors.
