Angus helps beef up bid to boost burgers
|
ONE of Scotland's most prestigious cattle breeds is being used to
boost flagging burger sales in Britain, as consumers demand more
information about the provenance of their food.
"The Angus", being launched by Burger King, the fast-food giant,
is sourced from cattle in Britain and Ireland. The burger is the only
one from a fast-food restaurant to be certified by the Aberdeen Angus
Cattle Society.
