Scottish Water 'is holding back country's economy'

SCOTTISH Water's poor performance is holding back the country's
economic growth, according to a construction industry survey.
An online poll of 500 developers, architects, civil engineers and
surveyors found 98 per cent were "dissatisfied" or "very
dissatisfied" with the state-owned utility's performance. Only 10 per
cent of those surveyed felt it was improving.
A total of 94.5 per cent of respondents said the water company was
putting a brake on Scotland's economy by not providing the
infrastructure crucial to development, particularly in rural areas.
