Archangel's key role in start-up investment

OPPORTUNITIES for new start-up businesses seeking investment burgeoned last year and the prospects for 2005 are even healthier, according to Scotland's largest business angel syndicate, Archangel Informal Investment.

But mainstream venture capital still remains reluctant to re- enter the start-up market despite the opportunities.
